First review of new single ‘Insatiable’
September 1, 2010     Posted in: Music, Solo     Comments (0)

I had the first listen to NADINE COYLE’s debut solo single Insatiable yesterday and like it more than I probably should.

It sounds instantly familiar because Nadine is always the main singer in GIRLS ALOUD.

But there’s an Eighties feel to the tune which reminded me of THE BANGLES.

Scouting for Girls offer Nadine Coyle singing role
August 21, 2010     Posted in: Music, News     Comments (0)

Hitmakers Scouting For Girls have offered Nadine Coyle a job singing with them if she quits Girls Aloud.

However, the boys behind songs such as Elvis Ain’t Dead, She’s So Lovely and This Ain’t A Love Song, have warned they will smell less fragrant than her female bandmates.

Bassist Greg Churchouse from the quirky group told The Razz: “I was reading Heat magazine and saw Girls Aloud were getting back together but not inviting Nadine, right, back.

“I thought she could do some work with us. If she wants to join us on the bus for a little tour of the UK, she’s more than welcome.

Coyle dad: ‘Girls Aloud don’t call Nadine’
August 10, 2010     Posted in: News     Comments (0)

nadine coyle phoneNadine Coyle’s father has reportedly claimed that he does not know if his daughter will ever rejoin Girls Aloud.

It had recently been suggested that the singer has “grown apart” from her bandmates, but Kimberley Walsh rejected claims that the group would reunite as a four-piece.

However, Nadine’s father Niall told Heat that his daughter had made a new life for herself in Los Angeles and would not return to the UK permanently to rejoin the group.

Niall said: “When the rest of the girls are in town, they don’t contact Nadine. You can understand why she may feel left out. They know where she is and don’t call.

“I’m not saying she will never go back to Girls Aloud, but her life is here now, as are her friends, family and her future. She won’t be moving back to the UK, why would she?”

Yesturday, rumours were flying around that Girls Aloud would be reforming as a 4-piece without Nadine!

A source told ‘The Sun’: “It’s been a painful decision… but they have decided that the future of Girls Aloud lies without Nadine. Relations with her had been strained within the camp for a while.”

This has now been denied by a Girls Aloud’s rep as simply not true and that the band have signed a record deal and will release a sixth studio album as a fivesome. The release date is not yet known.

Louis Walsh: ‘Coyle needs Girls Aloud’
May 19, 2010     Posted in: News     Comments (3)

cheryl cole australiaLouis Walsh has urged Nadine Coyle to build bridges with her Girls Aloud bandmates, claiming that the singer “needs” the group.

The X Factor judge, who managed the girlband in their early days, spoke out following a number of reports which have suggested that Coyle is distant from her fellow singers.

In April, Nicola Roberts admitted that Coyle had not spoken to the rest of the group for months. More recently, it was claimed that the LA-based star is annoying her bandmates by delaying plans for the next Girls Aloud album.

Speaking to Heat magazine about Coyle, Walsh commented: “I think she needs Girls Aloud. I really do. I think she so needs it.”

The music mogul said that the 24-year-old should take the first step to resolve any differences because “the other girls are all over here and she’s in LA”.

He continued: “I hope they can work it out. They don’t have to like each other, they just have to work together. No girlband really gets on well, because they all want to be the skinniest, they all want to be doing lead vocals and they all want to go out with the most famous footballer.”
