Nadine Coyle’s solo career might be about to kick off but her love life has hit rock bottom after her two-year relationship with Jason Bell has ended.
The Girls Aloud star has broken off her romance with American football player Bell, who she had been dating while living in Los Angeles since 2008.
The 25-year-old is said to have broken up with the New York Giants player, 32, because the relationship ‘was going nowhere’, the Daily Star reported.
A source told the tabloid: ‘Nadine was the one who decided it wasn’t working. They were together for two years but there was no marriage on the horizon.
‘It’s all very amicable and they will remain friends. But relationships are all about taking steps and making commitments and they weren’t moving to the next step.’
Meanwhile, the Irish singer’s solo career is about to take off and has been in London, Scotland, Ireland and Sweden in recent weeks working with top producers, reports say.
Girls Aloud’s record label has recently denied rumours that Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh are about to regroup without Nadine.
But while Nadine has been living Stateside, she’s not been seen with any of her Girls Aloud pals since last year and there have been constant rumours of feuds between the girls.
Nadine’s solo comeback is set to prove her amazing talent and will also give Cheryl Cole some stiff competition in the music charts.
Nadine has a busy shedule coming up and treated herself and boyfriend Jason to a romantic break away. Speaking from her personal twitter page she told fans:

I wish someone had warned us about the Mosquitos out there. They are ruthless. 1 st time to be bitten now I can sympathise.

Nadine Coyle has admitted that she still feels too young to marry boyfriend Jason Bell. Coyle, 24, who has been dating American Footballer Bell for almost two years, said that she is in a happy relationship but isn’t ready to settle down.
“I would laugh if I saw myself in a wedding dress,” she told OK! magazine. I feel too young, as strange as it sounds. I just don’t think I’m mature enough to do that at the minute.
“But is Jason the most incredible man I’ve met? Of course – by a mile.
I don’t have an idea for the perfect wedding, I’m just sure that when the time comes it’ll be all right. The actual wedding day is not that important, it’s all about making sure you’re with the right person.”
The Girls Aloud singer, who is currently working on her debut album, also revealed that she isn’t ready to start a family but would like one eventually.
“I want to wait until I’m at a stage when I feel like I can give my kids 100 percent of my attention. I’m great with children but I love handing them back.”

She left London’s spring sunshine wearing just a vest top. But on a day out in Los Angeles, it seems Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle felt the urge to cover up.
The singer, who has revealed a dramatically thinner silhouette of late, wore a brown vest dress and a white crochet style kaftan as she visited a health food juice bar with boyfriend Jason Bell
The top seemed a strange choice in the bright sunshine, but maybe the increasingly slender singer was feeling the chill.
The sight of her descending some steps outside a London studio in Bambi style sparked a rash of comments concerned that she has taken too readily to the Californian lifestyle.
But at the weekend she vociferously defended her figure, claiming skinny legs ran in her family.
‘I have always had incredibly skinny legs. It’s in my family. If anything I have put weight on since the last Girls Aloud tour,’ she insisted.
But pictures of the northern Irish beauty taken last year do not support her claim.
Nadine is clearly smitten with hunky boyfriend Bell, and the pair cuddled as they chatted with a friend.
Last year she said: ‘He plays American football and he is so smart. Not showbiz at all. He had never heard of [Girls Aloud] when we met through a mutual friend, but he’s a fan now.’
The couple started dating in September 2008 after first meeting in LA.
