Nadine Coyle releases her hotly anticipated debut solo single, Insatiable, on November 1st 2010 and album of the same name on November 8th exclusively through Tesco on her own Black Pen Records imprint .

With the energy of a Lear-jet on a private runway, the massive singalong choruses of Insatiable erupt and lodge in the brain after one listen. I’m a pop artist, says Nadine, and that is what pop songs should do at their best. I just knew we had something special when we wrote that song. Insatiable was co-written by Nadine and golden era-Robbie Williams collaborator Guy Chambers.

The album ‘Insatiable’ is set to be one of the biggest musical events of the year, marking Nadine’s first solo venture after seven years, five albums and millions of record and ticket sales as part of one of the most successful UK female acts of all time, Girls Aloud.

The album has been put together by Nadine over the last two years and features 13 brand new tracks all written or co-written by her. Jam packed with stellar modern pop, Insatiable mixes it up with influences ranging from the 80‚ to the noughties via Motown, sleek soul, blissed out ballads and a major injection of Tina Turneresque va-va-voooom to truly stop the show. It had to be right, explains Nadine. It had to be my sound and my songs. Insatiable feels like that.

Insatiable was recorded in London, Stockholm, Malibu and Los Angeles with an international roll-call of musical talent, all assembled by Nadine herself. As well as Guy Chambers, other production or writing collaborators include William Orbit (Madonna), Toby Gad (Beyonce) and Desmond Child (Aerosmith and Bon Jovi) and a host of cherry picked brand new talent. If being crammed full of killer modern pop songs were not enough, Insatiable is very much a singer’s album, underlining that Nadine has one of the best voices around – incredible and diverse, she can go from breathy or sultry through to full-on powerhouse at the drop of a tune. The video for ‚Insatiable‚ being shot in LA is being directed by the legendary Wayne Isham who has previously worked with Britney, Muse, Janet Jackson and Metallica.

In order to make her dream album Nadine created her own label Black Pen Records so she could take complete creative control. After considering numerous offers from several major record companies worldwide, she made the innovative decision to sign a deal with retail giant Tesco, who will stock the album exclusively.

So much has changed in the way artists work now‚ explains Nadine, I think we have learned that the traditional model for selling an album isn’t the only way of doing things. To be able to create an album where you are in complete control of your own work is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an artist.

The GIRLS ALOUD singer looks like she means business as she attempts to forge a solo career.

I’ve been given a sneak preview of the album, Insatiable, and it has a slightly rockier feel but still includes familiar-sounding ballads.

Nadine’s first single, also called Insatiable, is released on November 1. The album, out a week later, will be sold exclusively in Tesco.

NADINE Coyle’s solo album has been subject to much scrutiny without anyone hearing a note – but I can confirm she’s recorded some cracking pop songs.

I’ve heard five tracks from Insatiable, out November 8. The title track is the first single, and is ballsy and Eighties-influenced.

Red Light kicks into a disco dazzler, while Unbroken sees Nads, 25, sing in falsetto.

Chained has a sparkly synth backline and Natural is the big ballad, which she co-penned with Guy Chambers, 47

Earlier today, a Daily Mirror source claimed Labrinth had said “I was supposed to write for Nadine but I turned it down, it wasn’t for me. She’s a great girl but I’d prefer Cheryl and Girls Aloud as a whole, to work with all of them. They’re hot together with that sound.”

Labrinth took to his twitter tonight to explain he didnt mean his quote in a bad way:

@nadineworldwide was a bit shallow of em using me to have a shot at you Got nothing against you or Cheryl we should shut em up with a hit

It sounds instantly familiar because Nadine is always the main singer in GIRLS ALOUD.

But there’s an Eighties feel to the tune which reminded me of THE BANGLES.

Yesterday, we uploaded photos of Nadine at Heathrow. She took to twitter last night to tell us she flew to Ireland to see her family.

Back in Ireland I feel so so happy. My nephew is class, running around dancing to the jazz station. I love being home. Xx

Were unsure if she is going back with @BigAppleBruce to New York or if she is going to LA, or back to Ireland. Either way, we will miss her, and hopefully this time around it wont be long before she is back in London doing performances and TV interviews.
